As an educator, I work to create an academic environment that meets students where they are and equips students with practical skills that will serve them in a range of career paths. In 2025, I was selected to receive the Erwin C. Hargrove Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. I hold a Certificate in College Teaching and have completed formal training in teaching and pedagogy from Vanderbilt University’s Institute for the Advancement of Higher Education.
I have designed and served as the lead instructor for a class on survey research and data analysis in R, and I have served as a teaching assistant for a wide range of American politics courses covering both political behavior and political institutions. Please feel free to contact me for teaching evaluations and course syllabi and slides.
